Hotel Röhrl

Kühnlein Architektur

Project Hotel Röhrl by Kühnlein Architektur is an exemplary renovation project of an industrious brewery dating back to the 18th century in Sinzing, Germany. While the building was previously only used as an industrial factory, the transformation in 2018 provided a remarkable new use as a hotel and church, effectively anchoring Eilsbrunn's town center alongside an inn. This project showcases a cost-effective revival of what seemed to be a condemned structure, increasing the usable surface area from its previous state to offer rooms with solid wood furnishings and brewery-themed floors.
This project contributes to the social-ecological transformation through adaptive reuse, reducing environmental impact by repurposing existing structures. Preserving the historic brewery's essence not only honors cultural heritage but also fosters sustainable development by minimizing resource consumption and revitalizing community spaces, promoting local tourism and economic growth.
