LM Village

Nabil-Iosif Morad

The LM Village project by architect Nabil-Iosif Morad is a heartwarming transformation project of a defunct tourist resort, originally built in 1988 in Andravida-Kyllini, Greece. While the resort was previously a vibrant vacation destination, the conversion in 2016 has repurposed it into housing for over 300 refugees, greatly expanding the usable surface area to meet their accommodation needs.

This project contributes to the social-ecological transformation by effectively minimizing the environmental footprint of construction while addressing urgent humanitarian needs. Additionally, the collaboration between local authorities, NGOs, and volunteers fosters community engagement and solidarity, promoting social cohesion within the region.
