Am Urban

Graetz Architekten

Project "Am Urban" by Graetz Architekten is a transformative renovation project of a historic hospital of 1890 in Berlin, Germany. While the building was previously only used as a health center, the transformation in 2012 provided a modernized housing complex, significantly increasing the usable surface area to meet contemporary needs.

This project contributes to the social-ecological transformation by blending historical preservation and modern sustainability. Efforts to retain original architectural elements while introducing eco-friendly features promote community well-being and environmental consciousness, fostering a harmonious balance between heritage conservation and contemporary living standards.
