Privacy Policy

We collect and store personal data to ensure a smooth and secure connection to our website, evaluate system security and stability, and for other administrative purposes. When you visit our site, your browser sends us certain information, such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the name and URL of the retrieved file, the website from which the access takes place (referrer URL), the browser used, and if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider. We store this information in a log file until it is automatically deleted.

We don't use cookies on our website, but if you contact us, we'll use the information you provide to answer your inquiries.

We don't transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations, unless you give your express consent, the disclosure is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims, or there is a legal obligation to pass on the data. We use SSL encryption and suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties.

We use Youtube to display embedded videos on our website. When you visit a page on our website where we have embedded the YouTube video player and interact with this player, e.g. by clicking on the start button for the video, a connection to YouTube's servers in the USA is established and YouTube receives the information that you have visited the respective page of our website and played the embedded video. In this process, YouTube receives your IP address and technical information about your device (e.g., browser type, operating system, and basic device information). If you have a YouTube account and are logged in, YouTube assigns the information about your interaction with the player to your YouTube account; you may prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

There is an adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR regarding YouTube's data protection level, as Google LLC, the parent company of YouTube, has self-certified its adherence to the principles of the EU-US-Privacy Shield (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

By using the YouTube player on our website, you consent to the processing of personal data described above. Legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1) (a) GDPR.

Google LLC is the controller for the personal data collected through its YouTube player. For more information on how Google LLC processes your personal data please visit Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

Amendments

This privacy policy is currently valid and it was last amended in October 2020. Due to the further development of our website and offers on it or due to changed legal or official requirements, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy in the future.
